Eagle Farm, Race 3, LIVING TURF QUEEN ELIZABETH II CUP - GROUP 3 (2400 METRES)
Preview: The Living Turf Queen Elizabeth II Cup (Group 3, 2400m) at Eagle Farm on a Soft 5 track promises a fascinating contest with a mix of proven stayers and progressive types. The rail is true, and the pace is likely to be moderate, set by runners like Warp Speed or Strathtay, allowing tactical positioning to play a key role. Immediacy (3) stands out as the horse to beat, coming off back-to-back wins at Mornington and Caulfield, showcasing a sharp turn of foot. Drawn in barrier 1 with James McDonald aboard, he’s perfectly placed to dictate terms and capitalize on his peak form. His unproven 2400m record is a slight concern, but his pedigree and current trajectory suggest he’ll handle the trip. Hezashocka (2) is a major threat, with a strong 2nd in the JRA Plate and a win at this track and distance. Blake Shinn’s booking and barrier 5 enhance his chances, and his consistency at 2400m makes him a reliable contender. Etna Rosso (5) impressed with a 2nd in the Gosford Cup, and Chris Waller’s polish could see him challenge, though barrier 10 is a hurdle. Manzoice (10) ran well in the Chairman’s Handicap, but barrier 16 is a significant obstacle despite Craig Williams’ skill. Strathtay (11) and Campaldino (14) are honest stayers with light weights, but their wide barriers and class queries temper expectations. Alegron (1) has the class but is out of form, while Flying Bandit (7) and Dillian (15) face steep class rises. The top four—Immediacy, Hezashocka, Etna Rosso, and Manzoice—should dominate, with Immediacy’s tactical speed and form giving him the edge in a race where positioning and stamina will be critical.

In the time honoured 3yo sprint The Coolmore Stud Stakes over the Melbourne Cup carnival we identified Ozzmosis at the top rated contender and the well bred colt duly got the job done for members. Initially he was bet at 11/1 but got out to touch 20/1 closer to post time and was another dream result for members over a very successful Melbourne Cup carnival. Further testament to the value to be had by being amember of The Winning Factor!
The JJ Atkins Group 1 for 2yos was a big collect for our punters. We found King Colorado as the top rated winner at 40/1 (touched 60/1) in Places, We also landed the Quinella / Exacta with Miracle Of Love 2nd top rated and also the Trifecta in the Top 4 rated runners! Another great example of the betting intelligence members gain access to using The Winning Factor as their go to source for daily racing content.
With our Race Previews we find all kinds of value. Tiz Invincible was well supported to win the Rosebud 1st up from a spell. We had it clear cut top rated at 1.80 basically declaring it near unbeatable and it duly saluted and quickly firmed in betting for the Golden Rose along with many other Spring features. Not only do we provide high quality racing analysis and content for Australian racing but we also excel at producing high quality content for UK racing and other jurisdictions, especially during major carnivals such as Royal Ascot, Glorious Goodwood and The Breeders Cup in the USA. Ancient Rome winning The Chesterfield Cup on Day 1 of Glorious Goodwood this season in 2023 is just another example of the expert analysis our members can tap into. Ancient Rome opened up in betting at 16/1 and eventually drifted out to start 33/1 and even bigger on the exchanges.
